I read that the first automats served only buns, beans, fish cakes, and coffee. Is that true? By the end of WWI, would they have been serving more than that? They didn't serve pie or any meals? I also read they didn't start serving hot meals until after 1922. I was wondering if that is also true. Is there a lot of info in your book about the earliest automats? Thanks.
