The H & H restaurant, at 16th & Market Streets in Philadelphia, on the 2nd floor, had the best tasting, puffed-up salisbury steak with a gravy (or sauce) that was out of this world. It's amazing that many, many, of my friends who remember this H & H Automat also remember and loved this same Salisbury steak. Is the Chef still alive or a kin who inherited the recipe? |

I'll appreciate it greatly if you'll help me with a question related to your post. I thought the H&H was next to the Reading Terminal at 15th and Market, and I seem to recall that only the rest rooms were up a flight of stairs. Thanks, |
