I think I was only five and six when we went to the Jenkintown H&H. We moved away in 1950. The last time I was in one was in Philadelphia, many years ago. Such a loss. |

My Dad, Mom, sister Charlotte and I, Lynn, of the Crowder family loved dining at the Jenkintown Automat from time to time. I had the best time with those little glass doors with yummy food behind them. And there was something special too about decending the wide stairway to the restroom below the ground floor. Happy, poignant memories for me. |
