What about the restaurants in New Jersey?

Yes, there were restaurants in New Jersey. Unfortunately, we did not find this in our research until it was too late to include them. The New York company had a waitress restaurant and a retail store in Paramus and the Philadelphia company had several, both retail shops and cafeterias in Camden. They also had a retail store in Collingswood, NJ. |

My mother remembers going to Jimmy's Automat Restaurant in West Haven,Connecticut and I was wondering if there are any existing Automats in NY or anywhere? |

It would have made sense for H&H to have places in Camden NJ as that was just across the river from downtown Philadelphia. It was also an industrial working town where the people would've welcomed an H&H to enjoy. Sadly, Camden NJ has suffered an bad economic decline today. |
